Whilst  obtaining his LLB degree, Kulu also attended full time Law School at the  North-West University in 2009. He spent the bulk of his 14 years of his  career at a reputable firm in Randburg as Senior Associate, where after a  window of opportunity presented itself to join Bouwer & Olivier Inc. in  2023. He has also locked horns with counterparts outside the borders of South  Africa, more specifically Botswana. During his legal tenure he has obtained  experience in several fields of Law, and practises as a litigation specialist  in the banking sector.

Yvette Kotzee obtained a B.Com Law degree with a major in Business Management in 2017, after which she obtained her LLB degree in 2019. She obtained both degrees from the North-West University, Potchefstroom. She commenced her articles with Bouwer & Olivier Inc. in 2020 under the supervision of Michiel Bouwer, although working closely with both directors as well as the senior associate. She was admitted as an attorney of the High Court in April 2022 with experience in general litigation, the administration of deceased estates and debt recovery. She also renders services as a correspondent attorney in the High Court and Lower Courts for the areas of Randburg and Johannesburg. She continues to learn from her seniors within the firm and to expand her fields of expertise. She was admitted as a Notary Public in 2023 and she looks forward to building a successful notarial practice at Bouwer & Olivier Inc.

Micaela  Nunes is our newest addition to the team. She obtained her B.Com Law degree summa cum laude from Monash South  Africa in 2020 and she further obtained her LLB degree from IIE MSA with  distinction in 2022. Micaela received the Top Student award in 2022. She  joined our team in January 2023 and has gained a great deal of experience in  general litigation, family law and commercial law. Micaela is well acquainted  with court procedures in District, Regional and High Court, including the  efficient use of CourtOnline and CaseLines - the online platforms for the  High Court, Gauteng Divisions. She continues to learn from all her seniors in  the firm, with whom she works closely.

Anri  le Roux obtained her LLB degree from the University of Pretoria in 2018 and  in 2019 completed her LLM degree (cum laude) at the same institution in the  field of Medical Law and Ethics. She completed her practical vocational  training in the Western Cape and was admitted as an Attorney and Notary  Public in 2022. She practised at a prominent law firm in Nelspruit before  joining the team at Bouwer & Olivier Inc. as attorney. She has a passion  for mediation and is confident about the reconciliatory effect it will have  on the legal fraternity. Anri is a member of both the South African Medico-Legal Association (SAMLA) and the Declaration of Istanbul Custodian Group (DICG). She is also a qualified mediator on the Mediation in Motion Mediators (NPO) panel.
